The way that I mentally work through a missed cut or a quadruple bogey is directly related to the truth that is stated in the following Bible verse.

“…and we exult in hope of the glory of God. And not only this, but we also exult in our tribulations, knowing that tribulation brings about perseverance; and perseverance, proven character; and proven character, hope.” Romans 5:2b-5
